The Carlyle employs a full-time staff of more than 400 individuals to serve the hotel's 181 rooms and suites and 60 residential apartments. The high ratio of staff member to guest/resident ensures The Carlyle's long tradition of gracious, personal attention. Service at another Manhattan cooperative, even the most exclusive, simply cannot compare.
Our residents rely on these bona fide "personal assistants" for a myriad of tasks and services. They may take a pet to a grooming appointment, wrap and deliver a gift, arrange airport transportation, and then air and restock the apartment on one's return. The hotel's culinary staff will quickly prepare a meal to accommodate a special diet or a tray of hors d'oeuvres to serve to unexpected guests. Even one's mail is hand delivered, and always by 11 o'clock. No request is too small or too complex.
