Our Madison Avenue at 76th Street location places you near the Whitney

Frick Collection On 70th between Madison

The Whitney Museum of American Art On

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum at

Jewish Museum at 92th Street.
Within its distinctive Gothic structure are artifacts and artworks
encompassing four thousand years of Jewish culture.
Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum at 91st Street. Housed in Andrew Carnegie's mansion, this Smithsonian
museum exhibits decorative and design arts.
Museum of the City of New York More than
1.5 million artifacts tell the story about New York City.
In addition to art museums, the Upper East Side boasts a variety of
well-regarded galleries selling fine art and antiques. In addition to
the Carlyle Galleries, directly opposite the hotel on Madison Avenue,
nearby galleries include Allan Stone Gallery, Gagosian Gallery,
Knoedler & Company, Salander-O'Reilly Galleries and Zwirner & Wirth.
Performing Arts
The Carlyle is located just one mile east of Lincoln Center
performances and two miles northeast of Broadway shows.
Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts: On the Upper West Side. Twelve different
resident arts companies, including the Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, New York Philharmonic and New York City Opera, make their home at Lincoln Center, America's
first and foremost performing arts center.
Radio City Music Hall: On Sixth
Avenue between 50th and 51st Street, classic Art Deco venue with a full
calendar of live shows.
Broadway Theater District: Just a short cab ride to Midtown takes you

Walk out the doors of The Carlyle to Madison Avenue, where you will
find a plethora of luxury retailers, exclusive boutiques and upscale
galleries.

Central Park
The Carlyle stands one block from Mid-Park, where landmarks include the
Shakespeare Garden, Bethesda Terrace and the Marionette Theatre. It
would take days to explore all the treasures of the 843-acre park, so a
